Nov 04, 2024Westchester County Police are investigating the cause of a Sunday morning fatal Saw Mill River Parkway car crash in Chappaqua.
The driver was pronounced dead in the single-vehicle crash after the car, traveling south, went off the road and struck a guard rail, police said on Facebook.
The 8:45 a.m. crash sent a passenger to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, the police said.
The parkway's southbound lanes were closed in the area for hours for investigation. The police did not identity the driver at this time pending notification to family.
