New York Mills church hosts flea market, Polish Festival | Content Exchange | romesentinel.com

NEW YORK MILLS — The public is invited to three days of family fun, rain or shine, from Friday through Sunday, Aug. 2-4 at Sacred Heart — St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, located at 201 Main St.

The annual flea market and basket raffle is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Basket raffle winner drawings will be Sunday evening and guests need not be present to win.

The outdoor grill and bake sale is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Pizza fritte is available all three days.

The Polish-American Parish Festival is from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a Polish kitchen, outdoor grill, beverages, bake sale, raffle and continuous music by Galicja and Tony’s Polka Band. Magician Jim Lutz will perform at 3 p.m.

Legal beverages including domestic and Polish beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase.

The money raffle offers a total of $2,500 in prize money. The grand prize is $1,000, second prize is $500 and five prizes of $200 each will be announced on Sunday evening. Guests need not be present to win.
