World War II Drama 'Assault on Hill 400' Due on Blu

Shout! Studios will release the World War II film Assault on Hill 400 on Blu-ray Disc Aug. 1.

Based on true events, the film tells the story of one of the longest and most critical battles of the second World War. On Nov. 14, 1944, the 2nd Ranger Battalion was tasked with laying siege to the German town of Bergstein, and its highly prized strategic position — Hill 400. This epic World War II action-drama stars William Baldwin, Michael Madsen, and Eric Roberts.

Assault on Hill 400 comes from The Asylum, a motion picture and television studio known for the "Sharknado" film and "Black Summer" and "Z Nation" TV franchises.
